I am a Certified KonMari Consultant and a spatial designer based in Tokyo.
I grew up in Venezuela and moved to the United States as a teenager. More recently, I moved to Tokyo with my husband. Like many people living abroad, I experienced what it feels like to start over in a new place and build a life from scratch.
While studying design in the United States, I discovered the KonMari Method™. What began as a way to organize my small apartment in a foreign, unfamiliar country became much more than that. As I adapted to new cultures, built new routines, and navigated major life changes, creating order at home became a way to feel more settled and connected to my everyday life.
Over the years, I returned to those practices through many different chapters. Moving cities, building a career, creating a home with my husband, and eventually relocating to Japan.
Living abroad again gave me a new perspective on how difficult it can be to truly feel settled in a new country. Even when life is moving forward, home can sometimes feel temporary, unfinished, or disconnected from the life you're trying to build.
That experience became the foundation of Soft Landing.
Today, I combine KonMari-rooted organization, functional spatial thinking, and intentional styling support to help create homes that feel calmer, more functional, and more supportive of their daily lives.
The goal is not to aim for perfection. It is to create a home that feels lived in, meaningful, and aligned with the chapter of life you're in today.
